Tracy McLaughlin

What I do

Tracy is an active member of the PBIS committee for Jameson. When she is not working she enjoys time with family and friends, listening to music, attending concerts, and reading.

Tracy McLaughlin has been working for RSU 23 since 2011 beginning as an Ed Tech III in Special Education. Tracy completed her Master’s in Professional School Counseling at the University of Southern Maine and is now working as a school counselor for Jameson Elementary. She is also a certified national counselor.  She works with children PreK through 2nd providing classroom guidance, individual counseling, group counseling, and assists with restorative practices.

Tracy holds an active license in social work and prior to working for Old Orchard Beach, she provided case management for the adult mental health population in Portland for approximately nine years. Prior to case management, she worked with children with developmental delays. She graduated with a Bachelor’s at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine in 2001 with a major in sociology and a minor in psychology.
