What I do

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have two children, and a yellow lab. I love being outside, going on the boat or for walks by the ocean or lake, and spending time at my family’s lake house on Moosehead Lake. I have volunteered with pet therapy in the Portland area.

I started working at Jameson Elementary School in the Fall of 2017, as the Occupational Therapist servicing special education students in pre-K to 2nd grade. As a school based occupational therapist my role is to help and support students be as successful as possible in their daily occupation of school by identifying areas of need and improving fine and gross motor skills, visual-motor skills, self-regulation, self-help skills, and visual processing. I feel tremendous joy when a child makes improvements, big or small.

Before working at Jameson Elementary School, I worked as an Occupational Therapist with children in the outpatient setting for four years. I graduated with my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England (UNE) in 2013. I attended my first two years of college at the University of Maine, Orono, before transferring to UNE to pursue my passion to help others through Occupational Therapy.
