Jen MacDonald

I have worked in the Old Orchard Beach School System since 2015. I am currently a Kindergarten Teacher at Jameson Elementary School. I have served in many different capacities at Jameson School. Among those positions were Special Education, where I served as the Resource/Behavioral Teacher and as the Functional Life Skills/Developmental Teacher.

I graduated from the University of Maine Orono where I received a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Child Development/Family Relations. I continued at the University of Maine Orono for a Master’s Degree in Human Development and Family Relations.  Prior to joining Old Orchard Beach Schools, I taught preschool/pre-k in Orono for two years. From there, I started my journey in Special Education at Sweetser School and then went on to Child Development Services as an IEP Facilitator/Case Manager and Itinerant Teacher.
