What I do

Mrs. White now lives in Buxton with her husband, two children, and two dogs.  She enjoys walking, watching great Netflix series and going out to dinner with family and friends.  She continues to follow baseball as her family has hosted two Sea Dogs pitchers since 2015.   Mrs. White also enjoys being the P.T.O. liaison for Jameson School because it allows her to be involved in this wonderful community!

Mrs. White has been teaching second grade at Jameson since 1988!  The area she remains very passionate about is the connections she makes with her students. She thinks that second grade is a magical time of curiosity and growth and has always loved teaching this grade.

Mrs. White is originally from South Portland.  She graduated from high school in 1982 then attended the University of Maine in Farmington where she graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  After graduation, she worked at Brown Elementary School in South Portland as a Third Grade Educational Technician. The next year, she taught Half Day Kindergarten for part of the year at Casco Memorial School.  Throughout these years, she worked summers at the Clam Shack in Kennebunkport until her son was born.
